The Muriel Lester collection, containing Muriel’s personal papers, Doris Lester’s papers and records of the two Kingsley Halls and Children’s House, is now in Bishopsgate Library.
Muriel and Doris Lester, Christian socialists, educationists, feminists and lifelong peace campaigners, deserve to regain their place in history. This site celebrates the memory of their work and their continuing influence today.
