The Muriel Lester collection, containing Muriel’s personal papers, Doris Lester’s papers and records of the two Kingsley Halls and Children’s House, is now in Bishopsgate Library.

Join us for tea on Thursday, 12^th April, to discover an inspiring part of East London’s history and share our plans for realising the Lester sisters’ vision for Kingsley Hall in Bromley by Bow in the twenty-first century.

Muriel and Doris Lester, Christian socialists, educationists, feminists and lifelong peace campaigners, deserve to regain their place in history.
