Hello David
I am reading an out of print book Towards the Mysteries by Swami Omananda. There is a printed letter from Muriel included in the intoduction. Kingsley Hall is pivotal in the history the book and previous one. "The Boy and Brothers" by the same author. Do you have any knowledge of the above?

It would be interesting to know what the letter from Muriel said and what the connection was between Muriel and Swami Omananda. This is all new to me, I had not heard before of Maud MacCarthy and "The Boy" - see the Wiki. We do get visitors to Kingsley Hall because of Meher Baba having come here to meet Gandhi on his birthday, 1931, and Krishnamurti too is said to have visited during this time. The girl's club that first attracted Muriel to Bromley-by-Bow was a theosophical establishment set up by Annie Besant. And Gandhi's life and that of Annie Besant are very entwined. Perhaps these two books would help bring together some of these mystic threads...
I have also found the same entry in Wikipedia:

There is very little to go follow up here, however.
http://www.abebooks.co.uk/ has many copies for sale of "The Boy and the Brothers" and one listing for "Towards the Mysteries".
