On Monday, July 27th 2009, a parcel was delivered to Kingsley Hall and a little later a letter arrived. Both contained such wonderful material, that deserves being listed in some detail, so I will make a separate post for each when I get some time. S. Yoshida, mentioned elsewhere in a post under Family History, sent complete photos of her grand father's autograph book. A member of the Kingsley Trust has sent a pile of papers, minutes and reports from both Kingsley Halls covering the period 1939 - 1969. Both items are priceless.

The current project "Kingsley Hall and the Legacy of Muriel Lester" that is being funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has reached the reporting stage, and the Coordinator of the project Alice Mackay, diligently set to the task of sending off a large wad of reports detailing the project so far, a process that led to several late nights for both Alice and I. In financial terms the project is half way through, however most of the work has been done and the remainder of the project in the next 2 to 3 months will be pulling things together.

Over the last year a group has formed dedicated to recording people's memories. This work continues behind the scenes and some of the results will soon be up on the site. Again priceless archives for this collection.
