Progress Report
Here at Kingsley Hall, Bromley-by-Bow, we are preparing for Open House London, this Saturday. Over at Dagenham Kingsley Hall there is a week long 80th anniversary celebration.
The "Kingsley Hall and the Legacy of Muriel Lester" project hit a major problem when we had the archives scanned and the results were blurred. It has meant the project end date has been put back to January 2010. Our archivist Valentina Mirabella is back in the UK and working further on the catalogue. Our Oral History group continue with their important work and a computer class is learning how to retouch the archive photographs. The Muriel Lester tapestry is being mounted today.
Our last major event will be held on October 22nd at Kingsley Hall, Bromley-by-Bow, 4:30-7:30pm. A flyer will be available soon. There will be a tour at 4pm for those interested and who book in advance.
